This series of personal illustrations on the theme 'Alone or Lonely', came into being as a result of the lockdown. Enjoying my own company during lockdown started as a necessity but soon turned into a weirdly comfortable choice. Sometimes alone time is all you need to not feel lonely in a room full of people.
Beer can label for a hazy India Pale Ale brewed with oats, wheat, Mosaic, and Mosaic Cryo hops (a citrusy-bitter beer with cloudy gold color). The beer’s name is giving a nod to the Music video ‘Heart It Races- Architecture in Helsinki’, which also inspired the label design.

The instagram page @stillherestilllife posted images during lockdown for people to illustrate their own interpretations. I took it as an opportunity to explore Cinema4D, which allowed my to play around with object materials and the environment. In the end I went for a slightly ethereal look with objects made of jello and glass to capture the delicate yet playful nature of the still life.

NFT has disrupted the power structures of the art world. Artists now have direct access to collectors, leaving out the traditional route of valuation via curators, galleries, reps and auction houses. The notion of art and its valuation are now open to interpretation. Armed with optimism, a sense of metaphysical wonder and an accessible entry point, artists explore and experiment with this new marketplace. It has also opened doors for anyone to own authentic art, albeit digitally. From static to motion, tech-enabled performance art to never-seen-before footage from legendary filmmakers, this medium’s rising popularity opens a world of possibilities.

I was in a room full of people, but all I did was stare at this empty chair… my memory of the chai is very distorted now but I weirdly remember all the people who were around me that night.
Album art for Arushi Jain’s album Zid.
Commissioned by Boxout.fm.
Arushi Jain wanted an ethereal looking album art for her track. We wanted to incorporate her portrait in the artwork along with a little nod to her modular synth.

Who doesn't love butter?
A little bit on a warm crunchy toast..
.
…or a dollop on some fluffy pancakes drizzled with honey,
even in those tiny little squares of your waffles..
..nothing like butter

This Album art was commissioned by Ultra Music for the track ‘Uptown Rebel’ by Dejavilla and Yaksta.
The artists wanted the artwork to be rooted in Jamaica. They wanted the scene to remind them of the rebellious youth, that disobeyed their parents and went around partying and dating people their parents didn’t approve of. The artwork also gives a nod to the hand painted signs of Jamaica.
This album art was commissioned by David Marston for his track ‘Ven Pa Qui’.
The brief was for a sentimental and romantic spanish song with a sophisticated and trippy production. In terms of visuals he wanted an image of a flower with reds and purples, that would look beautiful but weird at the same time.
‘Multicoloured Dreams’ artwork was commissioned by Boxout.fm for the brother-sister duo from Goa, Merak.
They were looking for a very dreamy, relaxing scene to go with the chill vibe of their track.
These artworks were commissioned by DJ MoCity to promote his podcast, Motellacast. This show is his homage to the sounds that shape his world.
Some artworks take inspiration from his love for Nutella and some from the music.
